Built from a conviction that quality and speed are not mutually exclusive

Axis Web Art was founded in 2011 with a clear mission to deliver high-quality, cost-effective digital solutions that help businesses maximise their reach and return on investment through the power of technology.

What began as a full-service web development practice quickly found its focus. As eCommerce matured and Shopify emerged as the dominant platform for ambitious brands, we made a deliberate choice: to go deep rather than wide. In August 2017, we became a Shopify Partner — a relationship we’ve built on ever since, and one that has recently grown into Official Shopify Select Partner status.

Today, operating from New York and serving clients across 30+ countries, our team of 30+ in-house Shopify specialists brings that same founding conviction to every project. We do not outsource. We do not cut corners. We build stores that brands are genuinely proud to call their own.

Dhanpat founded Axis Web Art in 2011 and has run it from Jaipur, India, ever since. The team has grown to 30+ in-house Shopify specialists. No freelancers, no outsourcing. Together they’ve shipped 500+ stores for brands across the US, Europe, the UAE, and India. Axis Web Art became an Official Shopify Partner in 2017 and was recognised as a Select Partner in 2026.

Before Shopify became the focus, Dhanpat built stores on Magento, WooCommerce, and Laravel. That background is part of why migrations are still one of the things the team gets called in for most.

Fun Fact: When he's not working, you'll find Dhanpat listening to product strategy podcasts or planning a trip to one of India's lesser-known corners.

Ethan has spent the last decade helping DTC and B2B brands grow on Shopify. His focus is UX, growth strategy, and the space between marketing and the platform itself.

Before joining Axis Web Art, he ran his own eCommerce consulting practice in California, working directly with founders and marketing leads on stores across fashion, home, and wellness. He’s based in Los Angeles and leads strategy for our US clients.

Fun Fact: Outside of work, Ethan hikes most weekends and collects vintage vinyl.
