Axis Web Art designs, builds and supports Shopify stores. This policy covers axiswebart.us and explains what happens to information you give us here.
The short version
This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies. We are not building a profile of you. The only information we hold is what you type into the enquiry form and what the web server records automatically to stay online and secure.
What we collect when you contact us
The Start a Project form asks for:
- Your name and work email address, which are required so we can reply
- Your company or brand name, and a phone number, both optional
- The services, budget range, current platform, product count and timeline you select
- Whatever you write in the project brief
We use this to answer your enquiry and put together a proposal. We do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of a form submission, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
What the server records
Like any web server, ours logs the IP address a request came from, the browser user agent, which pages were requested and when. Our hosting provider keeps these logs for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.
Spam protection
The enquiry form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script. Cloudflare receives your IP address and limited information about your browser in order to make that assessment. Turnstile is used instead of a system that tracks you across sites, and it does not require you to solve puzzles.
Who else handles your information
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database
- Google Workspace, which carries our email, so anything you send through the form arrives in a mailbox there
- Cloudflare, for the spam check described above
That is the complete list. No advertising networks, no data brokers, no analytics platforms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our email while a conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards, because projects often restart. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. If you are in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you those rights explicitly, along with the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing for you to opt out of. If you are in the UK or the EU, the UK GDPR and GDPR apply, and our basis for handling enquiry details is our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask us to.

Cookies
This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress sets a session cookie only if you log in to the administration area, which visitors do not. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived token while it verifies a form submission.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be described rather than slipped in.
